Transport PGDip

The Transport PGDip, designed for practising professionals and graduates, meets the standards for the Transport Planning Professional qualification. You will develop and apply advanced skills and understanding to the planning, management and operation of transport systems. You also have the opportunity to transfer to one of our transport Masters' courses.

The Transport Postgraduate Diploma is delivered alongside our transport MSc courses. Modules are normally taught in blocks and supplemented by research seminars, site visits, engagement with local industry and visits from professional institution practitioners.

After you complete the taught modules you will go on a field trip to France and Germany to examine how transport systems operate in less familiar environments. You can also attend lectures and presentations on transport research and practice in a contrasting context.

If you successfully complete the taught modules you can transfer to one of our transport Masters' courses.
