Our BA Modern Language and Business and Management (German) course will give you a thorough grounding in the language and culture of the German-speaking world, as well as in the principles of business and management and their application in global workplaces.

Language study offers much more than just language fluency. You'll explore diverse aspects of the culture, society, history, politics and literature of the countries in which German is spoken, helping you to develop intercultural awareness and communication skills - both highly valued by employers.

You will be given a detailed introduction to the German-speaking countries and explore a variety of important issues within these nations, such as the challenges faced by multicultural German society following Germany's reunification.
