VISUAL ARTS (Master of Fine Arts)
It’s one thing to be a creative artist working in a studio. It’s another to have real choices in where you take your art and your career. After building a solid foundation in design, color theory, and drawing, you’ll concentrate in a specific area or work across a range of subjects including painting, photography, ceramics, drawing, and digital media. The Master’s program focuses on conceptual development and critical thinking. You’ll explore a medium in which you’re already proficient, working closely with instructors to develop your own personal concepts and process. Studies in art history, aesthetics, and world cultures will expand your understanding of the contemporary art world and the context of your own work.
