This degree focuses on documentary film-making, set within the critical study of media, culture and society. You’ll learn to use digital technologies creatively and develop your film-making experience.  

Regular film screenings and modules in documentary film history and theory enable you to watch documentary films critically as a scholar and film-maker.

You can also choose to explore different aspects of the media and cultural industries.

The integration of film, media and cultural studies theory with documentary practice is a key feature of the degree, so you can contextualise your film practice within the broader media and creative industries.
