Digital Electronics BEng Honours (H990)


Digital electronics focuses on the design and implementation of the digital systems at the heart of much modern technology.

It has applications in technology such as mobile phones, television and computers, leading to demand for graduates in this area.

In Stages 1 and 2 you study a common syllabus, developing your expertise in electrical machines and electronic communications systems.

In Stage 3 you take specialist topics, such as:

  • digital systems design
  • mobile and cellular communication

You complement this with a large individual design project - for example, energy harvesting in wireless communication networks - to showcase your skills to future employers
