B.Sc (Hons) Software Development for Business

This program has been developed in co-operation with leading UK employers to provide you with the knowledge, skills, and understanding to become a professional software developer.

Studying on this program you benefit from direct employer engagement in the form of guest lectures, project case studies, participation in competitions, attendance at the employer-student events, and work placements. You will acquire the right balance of technical, interpersonal, project management, and business skills needed as a software developer. In addition, you will have many opportunities to showcase your abilities to employers.

Students on this program are encouraged to undertake an industrial placement, which may be undertaken on completion of Year 3. You can study abroad with the European Erasmus Exchange Programme and get training experience abroad through the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE).

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

India

Minimum 60% in each subject from XII Standard exams
Advanced entry to Level 2 or 3 can be considered with equivalent study from Bachelor's degree

For programmes requiring an IELTS 6 with no element below 5.5 (or equivalent), we can accept 70% in standard XII English as evidence of English language.

Undergraduate
High School Graduation Diploma completed with a G.P.A of 2.7 plus one of the following:

ACT Composite score of 24 minimum 
SAT(post March 2016) – score of 1000 minimum
SAT (pre March 2016) – score of 1500 minimum
AP’s - Generally we are looking for 2 Advanced Placements at minimum grade 3
2 SAT Subject Tests at a minimum score of 500
