International Management, Master of Arts (3 Cities Programme)

Identifying international business opportunities, mastering intercultural communication and the ability to solve a wide range of corporate problems are imperative skills in today’s business world. Managers who work in a global environment need to possess the analytical mindset and extended knowledge in international management to succeed in international trade relations. Our Master’s programme in International Management prepares students for all of these tasks by providing them with an international perspective, valuable skills and a strong theoretical background.
The study programme focuses on Risk, Contractual and Project Management as well as Innovation Management, Foreign Trade and Strategic Management. Classic disciplines, such as Marketing, Human Resources, Operations Management or Law are part of the programme too. Company projects, case studies, an incubator and an internship are incorporated into the programme so students are able to foster their professional experience, extend their network and gain insight into the challenges of international corporations. Thanks to the 5-week block structure and the skill- and project-based approach, students get to improve their intercultural, team-building, leadership and communication skills. With this skill set they can negotiate international sales contracts, manage global business activities and lead diverse teams.

This programme allows students to choose between

The Berlin programme: Students study in Berlin, the vibrant centre of Europe, and receive an international management education that opens up opportunities in the global job market. The degree provides diverse career prospects in e.g. Risk Management, Consulting, Business Development, Creative Industries Management or Market Research.

In several Tripartite Variations students have the option to graduate with two degrees, e.g. the German degree (M.A.) and the Irish degree (M.Sc.).
