Humanities with Foundation Year

The Foundation Year offers you the opportunity to grow in confidence in academic study through the development of key skills and the exploration of diverse themes and cutting-edge developments in a large array of subject areas in Humanities and other Schools.

Successfully completing our Liberal Arts Foundation Year route allows you to progress to the full degree course that you choose when you apply to us. This foundation year allows you to develop your knowledge both within and beyond your chosen area of study, as well as building up the vital academic skills that you will need to be successful at degree level. You will be taught alongside other students studying the Foundation Year from Social Sciences, Religion & Philosophy, Languages & Linguistics, Education and Social Sciences.
