Bachelor of Applied Science in Cyber Operations (University of Arizona)
Description:
The BAS in Cyber Operations prepares graduates for entry into a number of cyber-related occupations in defense, law enforcement, and private industry. The curriculum includes both offensive and defensive cyber security content delivered within our state-of-the-art Cyber Virtual Learning Environment to ensure our students have extensive hands-on experiences to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to succeed after they graduate.
The BAS degree in Cyber Operations is a highly technical, interdisciplinary program that offers two degree tracks:
The Engineering Track is firmly grounded in the computer science, networking, and cybersecurity disciplines.
The Defense & Forensics Track encompasses the areas of offensive & defensive cyber operations, cyber threat Intelligence, malware analysis, networking, and digital forensics.

Prerequisite Course Preparation for the Major:
Programming I; Programming II (Engineering Track Only); MAT 151: College Algebra or MAT 122B: Calculus I (Engineering Track Only); Introduction to Discrete Math for Computer Science Professionals (Engineering Track Only); and Fundamentals of Cyber Security.
