Diploma of Civil and Structural Engineering
Design your future career in civil engineering by studying the Diploma of Civil and Structural Engineering. This course develops your skills and knowledge in the design and drafting of engineering plans to recognized standards. You will learn about different areas of civil engineering, including construction, project management, design, and testing.
You will be also be exposed to design principles associated with bulk earthworks and the planning of civil works, steel, and concrete structures along with sustainability principles and civil construction drawings. This course focuses on engineering drafting standards AS1100 and you will be given exposure to CAD packages such as AutoCAD and Revit. You will be introduced to sustainability principles which will require you to produce civil construction drawings as part of your assessments.
