Financial Analysis: making sense of the numbers. The financial analysis sector remains a growth area in the financial industry. According to the French Banking Federation, there are in excess of half a million employees working in French banks, and they are more and more qualified and need more and more professional certifications. Analysts are eager to collect and interpret company data. Therefore they are highly sought-after, whether they are specialized in the business sector or in a geographic area. The French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) noted in 2015 that junior Heads of Financial Research expected to start gross salaries of around €36,000 per year, with a large number of employers located in Ile-de-France-based headquarters, and in major capitals and financial centers worldwide.
