If you’re already working in computing, mathematics, or data analysis, this course will equip you with the practical AI skills employers are looking for.
You’ll learn about machine learning algorithms, neural computing, deep learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP), and discover how to analyse data, develop intelligent models, and create AI-powered solutions that improve systems, solve complex problems and support innovation across industries.
Before starting the course, we strongly recommended that you have basic programming knowledge of Python for Machine Learning.
Course durations vary slightly: 12 months (September starts), or 20 months (January starts). The Professional Experience option takes 2 years.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
- A first degree, with honours, at a minimum final classification of Lower Second (2.2), or equivalent, in a Computing, Electronics, Mathematics or Statistics subject.
- If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
- In order for you to gain the full benefits from this advanced Masters course in AI, it is strongly recommended that you ensure that you have some basic programming knowledge of Python prior to the start of your course.
- If you have an unrelated honours degree (2.2 or above) or a foundation degree in Computing, plus work experience at a suitable level, you may be considered on an individual basis. Applicants may be invited for interview to determine their suitability for the course.
