MAHSA University’s Bachelor in Physiotherapy (Honours) is a comprehensive 4-year undergraduate programme designed to prepare future-ready graduates for a dynamic career in restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for individuals affected by neurological, cardiorespiratory, musculoskeletal, sports-related, and other physical conditions. This programme equips learners with the essential knowledge, clinical skills, and professional attitudes required of a modern physiotherapy practitioner.

Students will engage deeply in the study of functional anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based practice, along with physiotherapy rehabilitation, clinical practice, and physiotherapy research. Throughout the programme, they will learn to apply physiotherapy assessment and evidence-based therapeutic techniques, supported by physiotherapeutic modalities for pain relief and integrated therapeutic treatment approaches for musculoskeletal, cardiothoracic, neurological, sports injuries, women’s health issues, and elderly care and rehabilitation. These clinical skills are strengthened through hands-on therapeutic approaches such as joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and massage therapy to optimize patient outcomes.

Through extensive clinical placement opportunities, students develop strong assessment and diagnostic capabilities, enabling them to design personalized treatment plans aimed at reducing pain, improving mobility, restoring muscle control, and enhancing functional independence.
