MRes Business and Management

The course lasts for one year and has a simple structure. There are two taught modules in the first semester: one being an elective module in an area of business and management which you get to choose; the other providing a foundation in research methods. The subsequent two semesters of the course are dedicated to a research project of your choice with the expert support of a subject supervisor.

The course also includes several enhancement events, such as guest talks from leading researchers in our School, careers support and a session explaining how to applying to study a doctorate at the University.

The City Campus is right in the centre of Wolverhampton. It is a seven-minute walk from both the train station and St Georges Metro terminus, and a five-minute walk from the main bus station.

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should have or be about to complete:

  • A recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree (or equivalent qualification) from an accredited college, institution or university, equivalent to or higher than a UK Bachelor honours degree qualification.

Please include in your personal statement an explanation of your research interests and how they align with your career aspirations; you may be required to attend an interview to discuss this further.
