The MPS in The Business of Fashion program at LIM College's Marcuse School of Graduate Studies prepares graduates to leverage their enhanced skill set to advance in their current role, embark on a new career trajectory, or launch an entrepreneurial endeavor. Depending on your major (Visual Studies, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Fashion Management), possible roles include:
- Fashion Marketing: Social Media Manager, Marketing Coordinator, Brand Strategist, PR Assistant.
- Visual / Creative Roles: Graphic Designer, Visual Merchandiser, Set Designer, Photo Stylist, Art/Creative Director.
- Management / Leadership / Business Roles: Business Development Manager, Retail Buyer, Operations Manager, HR Manager, Sustainability Coordinator.
- Supply Chain & Analytics: For those in more quantitative or operation-focused tracks.
Compensated Internships and Co-ops
- LIM recently introduced a policy (from Fall 2024 onwards) that requires all students to be paid (at least minimum wage) for internships and co-ops. This helps reduce the financial barrier and ensures real professional recognition.
PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
High School/Secondary School Transcripts.
The minimum academic requirement for admission to LIM College for an undergraduate (associate/bachelor's) degree program is the completion of high school or secondary school. High school or secondary documentation is required even if you have completed college or university work. A transcript (record of subjects/courses and grades) and verification of graduation is required. The document(s) must represent the equivalence of high school graduation in the U.S. All documents not written in English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. If your degree was completed outside of the United States, the Office of Admissions may request your transcripts be evaluated by an evaluation agency approved by NACES prior to enrollment.
