PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0 as an undergraduate in order to be considered for admission to a Florida Tech master's degree program. Transcripts from a non-US institution are internally recalculated to meet this threshold.
Passed an English test no more than two years before attendance at Florida Tech:
- Internet-based TOEFL (standard, home and paper) with an earned score of at least 80; or
- TOEFL Essentials with a score of at least 9; or
- IELTS with an earned score of at least 6.5; or
- PTE Academic with an earned score of at least 58; or
- Cambridge English: Advanced with an earned score of at least 180 (Grade of C); or
- Duolingo English Test with an earned score of at least 105
