Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership: CTE Administrator Certification
This CTE administrator certificate program is geared toward those who have at least three years of experience as a certified teacher, CTE administrator, CTE counselor, or CTE occupational information specialist, or CTE career guidance specialist, or who already hold a residency or continuing administrator certificate. Although a master’s degree is not required for CTE administrator certification, CityU offers the Master of Education in Leadership with Administrator Certification for those who desire a master’s degree. The doctoral degree, EdD, is also offered.
CityU is a clear choice for those who want to advance into education leadership through a flexible, high-quality program. All CTE administrator candidates complete a two-quarter internship in person, gaining valuable feedback from contemporaries, mentors, and our expert faculty members.
You may choose initial CTE administrator certification only or combine it with residency principal, residency program administrator, or both residency principal and program administrator.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
College-level English proficiency for language-assisted graduate degree or certificate programs must be demonstrated prior to enrollment by submitting proof of one of the following:
iTEP score of at least 4.0 or an equivalent (see test score equivalents in the English Language Program section below).
Completion of Level 6 of CityU’s English Language Program or the appropriate level of a CityU-recognized English language program.
Completion of at least 45 quarter degree credits (or 30 semester degree credits) at an accredited or CityU-recognized institution where the language of instruction was English, with satisfactory academic progress (cumulative GPA 2.0 or better).
Completion of at least 45 quarter degree credits (or 30 semester degree credits) in American Council on Education (ACE)-recommended courses with the U.S. Armed Forces.
