Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

  •  A recognised four-year degree in mining engineering or a related engineering or physical sciences discipline from a recognised institution with a minimum WAM of 65%; or;
  • A three-year degree with a minimum WAM of 65% plus a minimum of one year relevant industry experience
  • A graduate certificate in mining from UNSW with a minimum WAM of 65% and no course fails.

The School of Minerals and Energy Resources Engineering offers a Graduate Certificate in Mining Engineering (7335) to allow a more flexible entry mode for applicants who have limited tertiary qualifications.
