Juris Doctor/Master of Arts in Philosophy
Duquesne is one of the few universities in the country to offer a Juris Doctor and Master of Arts in Philosophy joint degree. Students in the program gain the benefits of a rigorous study of philosophy and law and create new opportunities to further academic or legal careers.
Candidates may begin in either the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University or McAnulty Graduate School of Liberal Arts.
Candidates apply to each school, and the schools retain independence regarding admissions.
Upon completion of the requisite conditions for graduation, students receive a degree from each school.

PSW Opportunity
Post-Study Work visa or permit, allowing international students on F-1 visas to work in the US after completing their studies, typically through Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Eligibility:
To be eligible for OPT, students must have been enrolled full-time in a US educational institution for at least one academic year and be seeking work related to their major.
Duration:
Students can apply for up to 12 months of OPT, either before they finish their studies (pre-completion) or after graduation (post-completion).
STEM OPT:
Students in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) fields can apply for an extended OPT period of up to 24 months.

GRE at 308 or higher. GRE scores must be from last 5 years.
