Veterinary Clinical Care – Plan B (M.S)

The master’s degree in veterinary clinical care equips students to fill a unique role that works alongside veterinarians and veterinary technicians, enhancing collaboration among veterinary professionals and providing a holistic team approach to care. With their unique skillset, VPAs will help relieve veterinarians from extra tasks, enhancing the efficiency of the veterinary care team as a whole. Veterinary professional associates will have knowledge and authority, under supervision of a licensed veterinarian, to diagnose and treat common illnesses and injuries, but veterinary care teams will still need the expertise of veterinary technicians to provide well-rounded care to patients.

Job Opportunity Potential

CSU’s Career Center is excited to partner with Parker Dewey to offer micro-internships to RAMS!

A micro-internship is a short-term project that can be completed within 5-40 hours, typically due within a week to a month. These projects require no on-boarding and can be completed by a college student with minimal instruction. These are important but low-risk tasks that can be completed either on-site or remotely.

Micro-internships are available year-round. It’s up to you to take advantage.

CREATE A PROFILE – Signing up takes less than 10 minutes – name, school, hobbies, and a few other things and you’re good to go.
SEE MICRO-INTERNSHIPS – Check out details on available assignments, including when they’re due and how much you’ll be paid.
APPLY – You decide which opportunities seem the most interesting – it’s a great way to explore different roles and industries.
COMPLETE ASSIGNMENT – Once you’re selected, work directly with the company. Do your best to exceed their expectations as it could lead to a full-time role.
