Bachelor of Accounting (Level 7)

Whether you have just left secondary school, have done previous study in related fields, or are wishing to return to study to develop new skills, the Bachelor of Accounting will give you the knowledge and skills to work in an ethical, socially responsible, and sustainable way in a variety of business settings that aligns to Ng? Kaupapa o te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You will learn to apply creative, strategic, and critical thinking to decision-making and problem-solving in evolving business environments and be able to demonstrate effective communication, self-management, digital literacy, and currency as an accounting professional.
You will also get hands-on experience with an accountancy project for a real business.
We will support you to succeed. Our classes are small so we can work closely with you to achieve your goals and, our strong industry relationships keep you up to date with the latest business practices.
This qualification will mean you are equipped to meet the educational requirements for membership of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and Chartered Practising Accountant Australia (CPA).

PSW Opportunity
- During study, all students on a student visa can work up to 20 hours per week during semester and full time during vacations.
- After completing Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Qualification, a student will get a three years open post-study work visa.
- After completing Level 8 Post Graduate courses of 1 year, students get 1 year PSW.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Diploma Level Programmes
All India Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with with passes of 55% in 4 academic subjects
Degree Level Programmes
All India Senior School Certificate (10+2) or equivalent with with passes of 70% in 4 academic subjects
Certificate Programmes
Most certificate programmes require applicants to have completed Year 12 or equivalent of secondary school. Please contact MIT International for further information.
English Language Equivalents
IELTS (Academic) 6.5; no one score below 6.0: TOEFL 575 (230), TWE 4.5. MIT ELP 6.5.
IELTS (Academic) 6.0; no one score below 5.5: TOEFL 550 (213), TWE 4.0. MIT ELP 6.0.
IELTS (Academic) 5.5: TOEFL 525 (190).
