On successful completion of this degree, you’ll be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and go into practice as a nurse.

Health care organisations large and small attend our annual employer fairs as part of their recruitment drives. Some of our students are fortunate enough to have several job offers by the time they complete their course.

Graduates from this programme could go on to work in a range of healthcare settings across hospitals and in community-based teams. They may also go into community care homes, forensic services, acute, community, CAMHS, school health, safeguarding, specialist roles or the voluntary sector. There may also be opportunities for you to work overseas.

• 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
• 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

FOR INDIA

• Students with a minimum average of 65% in the Standard XII/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Examination can typically be considered for direct entrance to Bachelor degree programmes
• Students with a minimum score of 60% in the Certificate of General Nursing and Midwifery from State Nursing Boards or Councils can be considered for entrance to the second year of a related degree programme.

English

• Academic or UKVI IELTS no older than 2 years and must meet the requirement of the course of study.
• Cambridge IGCSE English with Grade C
• Completion of UK degree in the UK within the past two years.

For most of our programmes at bachelors degree level and above, you will normally need an IELTS score of between 6.0 and 7.0 with a pre-requisite minimum score in all areas. (speaking, reading, writing and listening). We will accept one of the alternative equivalent qualifications below:

We also accept a number of qualifications from other countries as evidence of English Language proficiency, e.g. WAEC, KCSE or 1119 so please check our international entry requirements for each country.
