HISTORY AND LAW BA (Hons)

With its rich industrial past and thriving heritage industry, Derbyshire is the ideal location to study history. Our History modules focus on the sixteenth century to the modern day, giving you a broad-based understanding of major events, movements, and concepts in society, culture and politics.

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

FOR INDIA

  • Students with a minimum average of 65% in the Standard XII/Intermediate/Higher Secondary Examination can typically be considered for direct entrance to Bachelor degree programmes
  • Students with a minimum score of 60% in the Certificate of General Nursing and Midwifery from State Nursing Boards or Councils can be considered for entrance to the second year of a related degree programme.

English

  • Academic or UKVI IELTS no older than 2 years and must meet the requirement of the course of study.
  • Cambridge IGCSE English with Grade C
  • Completion of UK degree in the UK within the past two years.

For most of our programmes at bachelors degree level and above, you will normally need an IELTS score of between 6.0 and 7.0 with a pre-requisite minimum score in all areas. (speaking, reading, writing and listening). We will accept one of the alternative equivalent qualifications below:
