Bachelor of Engineering Honours in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence

This Robotics and Artificial Intelligence degree is structured with a strong emphasis on practical work to develop students’ skills and confidence in the usage and application of contemporary Robotics and AI technologies. Students will learn the elements needed to build a robot, from simple electronic circuitry, software engineering and control, to high-level robot intelligence and will learn how to develop robotic systems and bring the learning to life.

The curriculum was designed with support from industry leaders such as ABB and Ocado to develop the practical skillsets needed from graduates to match the industry needs. As part of the curriculum, students will program and build their first robot under the guidance of both local lecturers and university faculty.

The programme is regularly reviewed by PSB Academy’s Industry Advisory Board (IAB) comprised of members from the industry including companies such as A*Star, DHL, HP and Kullicke & Soffa.

The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore.
Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass.
They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Level 4 (Year 1) Entry

Successful completion of PSB Academy Certificate in Engineering Foundation or Certificate in InfoComm Technology; OR
Equivalent qualifications to the above which demonstrate preparedness for study.

Level 5 (Year 2) Entry

Successful completion of engineering diploma or diploma in STEM subjects including mathematics modules from a local polytechnic; OR
Other equivalent to UK BTEC Level 4 qualifications
Minimum Age Requirement - 16 years old

English Language Requirement :

English Language at GCE ‘O’ level at grade C or above; OR
IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each band or equivalent.
