Real-world learning

You will study a combination of business and law units in the first four years, with the law and elective units only in the final three semesters.

Your business course consists of eight core units to give you a broad-based introduction to business principles and a chance to sample a major before you finalize your selection. You will study eight units of your chosen major.

Through the law component of your double degree, you will gain advanced knowledge and skills in commercial remedies, contract law, corporate law, real property law, dispute resolution, the law of torts (negligence, damages and no-fault compensation schemes), legal interviewing, problem solving, criminal law, equity and trusts, evidence, ethics and the variety of contexts in which Australian law operates.

You will also have a number of introductory, general and advanced law electives available to specialize in a certain area of the law and gain hands-on experience in the real world.
