This program offers experiential learning opportunities such as a paid co-op option, laboratory testing and analysis, site visits, presentations and seminars, and an independent research project. You’ll graduate prepared to protect the health of communities large and small and make a difference in humanity’s lived experience.

PSW Opportunity

If your program was less than 8 months

  •    You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.

If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years

  •    We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.

For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.

If your program was 2 years or more

  •    We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.

If you completed more than 1 program

  •    You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.

Each of the programs you completed -

  • must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Full-time, 4-year program

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements.

Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:

  • English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred)
  • One of Chemistry (SCH4U) or Biology (SBI4U)
  • Note: the minimum grade(s) required in the subject prerequisites (normally in the 65-70% range) will be determined subject to competition

Note: Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university will not be considered for admission to the four-year degree program.
