Professional Communication is a flexible program that explores all aspects of communication including written, visual, auditory, digital and interpersonal.

Learn to write, create and produce strategic content for a range of fields and industries, across multiple platforms.

You’ll experiment with diverse media, access the latest digital technologies and software, and learn how to connect, engage and communicate with audiences. Gain the skills necessary to evolve and adapt in the ever-changing job market through hands-on coursework, simulation workshops, guest lectures from industry leaders, internships and international learning activities.

PSW Opportunity

If your program was less than 8 months

You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.

If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years

We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.

For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.

If your program was 2 years or more

We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.

If you completed more than 1 program

You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.

Each of the programs you completed -

must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent with a minimum of six Grade 12 U or M courses including the following program specific requirements.

Typically, a minimum overall average of 70% establishes eligibility for admission consideration; subject to competition individual programs may require higher prerequisite grades and/or higher overall averages:

A minimum grade of 70% or higher will be required in Grade 12 U English/anglais (ENG4U/EAE4U preferred).
