Bachelor of Advanced Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence
You’ll learn tools and techniques to develop and use artificial intelligence systems to make a significant contribution to communities, the success of organisations and the global economy. You will study the philosophical, legal and ethical context for AI in real-world applications. Working alongside inspiring researchers and industry, you’ll get hands-on practice in in a variety of contemporary artificial intelligence techniques, from knowledge representation to deep learning, developing in-demand skills and leadership qualities for an exciting career in AI.
The Artificial Intelligence extended major will equip you with the skills and knowledge to understand, evaluate, design and implement artificial intelligence systems. You will study the philosophical context for AI in real-world applications, and get hands-on practice in contemporary AI, from knowledge representation to deep learning, developing in-demand skills and leadership qualities.

With further study, the two co-requisite majors in Architecture can lead to a career in architecture, urban design, architectural drafting, architectural education/academia or government policy. You could work in architectural and urban design practice, city and regional planning, government agencies, higher education, property development and architectural illustration and modelling.

- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants

- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
