Post Graduate Qualifying Program – IT Stage 1 + Stage 2
The Post-Graduate Qualifying Program – IT (Stage 1) will develop the academic knowledge, skills and English Language Proficiency (ELP) for entry into the PQP semester and therefore Master’s degrees at ECU.
The Post-Graduate Qualifying Program – IT (Stage 2) will equip students with the knowledge, skills and English Language Proficiency (ELP) for entry into masters degrees in the School of Science (Computing and Security) at ECU.
Campus Information
Joondalup Campus West
The campus is within a 10-minute walk from the Joondalup train station, or you can use the free CAT bus service to take you directly to the campus. Car and bicycle parking is available on campus. ECC’s courses are offered on Joondalup Campus West, the distance between ECC Joondalup and ECU Joondalup is only 5 minutes walk.

PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Post-Graduate Qualifying Program
- 3 year Bachelor degree awarded in 3rd or Pass Division or Class by a Section 2 institution; or
- 3 year Bachelor degree awarded in 2nd, 3rd or Pass Division or Class by a Section 3 institution.
