Campus Information
Sydney
CQUniversity Sydney is located on Kent Street in the heart of the city. It is easily accessible being just a five-minute walk to Town Hall station. Townsville
CQUniversity’s Townsville campus is located on the banks of the Ross Creek in the Townsville CBD and is home to over 1000 students. The campus is made up of two buildings – Building One established in NQ News House in 2015 and the new, purpose-built Building Two which opened in 2017. The campus boasts state of the art nursing and paramedic science labs, teaching spaces, study spaces and free parking.
Adelaide

In this city you will discover superb architecture, cultural boulevards, surrounding parklands and wide streets, being home to attractions such as the Adelaide Botanic Gardens, Zoo and North Terrace. CQUniversity Adelaide is situated to the south-west of the city within close proximity to the Adelaide Showgrounds, making it easily accessible to various forms of public transport. The Campus is home to The Appleton Institute, a multidisciplinary research hub. The institute specialises in research, teaching and community engagement in a wide range of areas including safety science, sleep and fatigue, human factors and safety management, applied psychology, human-animal interaction, and cultural anthropology.
Brisbane
CQUniversity Brisbane, located in the heart of the central business district, is a great place to study. The campus, refurbished in 2017, comprises nine floors of modern facilities and will offer you a fresh learning environment from which to pursue your academic interests. Bundaberg

Gladstone Marina

Since merging with CQ TAFE on 1 July 2014, CQUniversity has become a more comprehensive university. As a result, CQUniversity now offers over 300 education and training options ranging from short courses, certificate and diplomas, to undergraduate, postgraduate and research higher degrees.
Mackay
Conveniently located on Sydney Street in the heart of the Mackay CBD, CQUniversity Mackay City (Former CQ TAFE) campus offers a wide range of study options from certificates and diplomas to undergraduate courses. Facilities available on the campus include, extended hours computer laboratories, training restaurant, a hair dressing salon, a beauty salon, gym, library and student common areas.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
An applicant may be considered for admission to candidature for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy if the person holds:
a) a Masters degree either by research or with a substantial element (typically one-third) of research work within it, from a university or any other approved institution
b) a Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline with first class or second class honours conferred by a university or any other approved institution
c) a Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline in addition to completion of the CQUniversity Graduate Certificate in Research with an average of distinction level of achievement, or
d) alternative qualification/s and/or experience deemed by RHDC to be of equivalent scope and standard to those listed above
