Master of Business Administration
The KOI Master of Business Administration draws on contemporary trends relating to technology enabled enterprises, global business communications, markets and workforces and radical changes in workplace engagement and empowerment arising from advances in technology. The subjects reflect current, leading, enterprises place “technology” central to their operations, rather than overlaying it onto legacy structures and systems. While KOI’s MBA adopts technology centric approach, its foundation is strongly built on traditional core areas such as strategic decision making, HR leadership and financial management. In addition, our unique degree focuses on real world problem solving of contemporary challenges and contextualises key knowledge areas by using contemporary teaching methodologies such as flipped classrooms and action learning.
The Master of Business Administration requires students to complete a total of 12 subjects over 4 (four) trimesters. The 12 MBA subjects cover the foundation and toolbox for students to move forward, deliver key research and analytical content that develops students’ educational progression, expand on the educational foundations and progression and broaden students’ horizons with study tours and an industry focused research report.

- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Master of Accounting: Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) or overseas equivalent. Students MUST have completed the equivalent of ACC700 Principles of Accounting (this will satisfy the required pre-requisite ACC700 existing for some subjects), BUS702 Business Law (Australian) and BUS700 Economics in an approved accounting AQF Level 7 or above course to be eligible to enrol into the Master of Accounting.
Master of Professional Accounting: Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) or overseas equivalent
Master of Business Administration: A cognate Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) in an area of business or management or overseas equivalent with at least 70% average, or Australian Bachelor degree (3 years) (AQF Level 7) in any discipline or overseas equivalent with at least 70% average plus two years relevant work experience, or A Graduate Certificate (Grad Cert) in an area of business or management with at least 70% average or Five years (full-time equivalent) professional work experience with some experience in a management role.
All applicants will be interviewed by the Program Director to ensure the student is prepared for the program including level of technology literacy.
