Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Business Analytics)

The Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Business Analytics) is embedded in the Master of Business Administration (Business Analytics) and has been designed as both an exit qualification and an alternative pathway to further study in the Master level qualification.

This course is designed to equip students with the skills needed for paraprofessional roles in the business industry and further study at the Master level course.

The course is underpinned by business administration core units such as business law, finance for corporate managers, project management, communications and negotiations, people, culture and agile leadership, and as such, reflect the AIH’s Graduate Attributes. The course also consists of three foundational specialised business and data analytics units to further enhance the knowledge and skills in big data, data visualisation and business reporting.

The teaching of the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Business Analytics) integrates the practical experience of industry specialists with a more formal academic approach. It lays the foundation of a coherent and cohesive body of understanding at the general business and business analytics level.

The course consists of one project-based unit, a minor industry project that will provide students with a hands-on practical learning experience. The project-based unit is designed to facilitate project-integrated learning in a simulated workplace and will test the students’ abilities in addressing contemporary issues or problems by applying business and data analytics knowledge and skills.

Within the Graduate Diploma of Business Administration (Business Analytics) is a nested exit qualification Graduate Certificate of Business Administration.
