• Indian HSC/Standard XII with an overall average of 60% or higher (all boards including CBSE and CISCE).
• 2 A-levels at grade C or above, or an International Baccalaureate with minimum 24 points
• A recognised International Foundation course from a UK institution

Undergraduate

• Ravensbourne English Language Test: 6 overall with no less than 5 in each skill.

This is an online test which assesses the four core skills of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. In order to take the test, you must have: 

• A good internet connection, a computer and a webcam. 
• An internal or external microphone. 
• A camera able to be moved to show a 360-degree view of the room.

• This test is available for current Ravensbourne offer holders whose offer is conditional on meeting our English language entry requirements 
• You must not have taken the Ravensbourne English Language Test in the last 2 months

• IELTS (Academic): 

5.5 overall (and a minimum of 5.5 in each component: reading, writing, speaking, listening. 

• TOEFL iBT (Academic): 

72 points overall with minimum Reading 18, Listening 17, Speaking 20, Writing 17 
Please note: we are unable to accept TOEFL iBT Home Edition test. All tests must be taken in person at a test centre. 

• International Baccalaureate: 

English B / English A: Language and Literature / English A: Literature / English Literature and Performance - Standard or Higher-Level Grade 5 

• Pearson English language test (PTE) Academic:

 PTE Academic or SELT: 59 overall with minimum 59 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. 

• LanguageCert International ESOL: 

LanguageCert International ESOL SELT B2 Communicator High Pass  

• Trinity College London: 

Trinity College London - B2 SELT ISE II. Pass Overall with Pass in each component. 

• INTO Foundation English Language Assessment: 

CEFR B2 Level - 55% overall with minimum 55% / C in each sub-skill. 

• Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) / C2 Proficiency: 

162 overall with 154 in each component 

• Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) / C1 Advanced: 

162 overall with 154 in each component 

• GCSE English/IGCSE First Language English / O?Level / International Cambridge O Level English Language (as a first language):

 Grade C/4 or above 
Please note: IGCSE English as a Second Language does not meet our English language entry requirements. 

• India Class XII High School Certificate: 

Year XII High School Certificate from CBSE/CISCE boards with 60% or above in English Language, achieved within the previous 2 years of the date of enrolment. 
OR Year XII High School Certificate from 70% from other state boards achieved within the previous 2 years of the date of enrolment, except for Punjab and Haryana state boards. 

• Norway Vitnemål for Videregående Opplæring: 

Grade 4.0 or above in English Language. 

Sweden Slutbetyg: grade C or above in English Language level 6. 

WAEC/SSCE/NECO: WAEC / SSCE / NECO English Language C6 or above.
