Accelerated Nursing (Mental Health) BSc (Hons)

Mental health nursing is a demanding yet rewarding career. This 18-month accelerated programme will give you the knowledge and skills to aid people to have more involvement and control over their mental health by promoting and supporting people in a variety of health and social care settings.

Upon completing this NMC-approved course, you will be eligible to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Registered Nurse.

You will:

  • Learn how to support people during the most acute phases of their distress
  • Learn how to work with people who have issues around substance misuse or offending behaviour
  • Learn how to help those with ongoing mental health conditions

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

FOR INDIA

  • Applicants who have achieved at least 70% in their polytechnic diploma will be considered for undergraduate study.
  •  If you do not meet the entry requirements, you could take the International Foundation Year to gain entry onto this degree.

FOR BANGLADESH

  • Applicants who have achieved at least 70% in their polytechnic diploma will be considered for undergraduate study.
  • If you do not meet the entry requirements, you could take the International Foundation Year to gain entry onto this degree.

FOR NEPAL

  • Applicants should achieve 65% in Standard XII to be considered for undergraduate study.

FOR SRI LANKA

  • We welcome candidates with Sri Lankan O/A Levels as well as London O/A Levels. We also accept a range of alternative reputable qualifications, such as the IB and HND.
