On successful completion of our commercial pilot training in aeroplanes degree, you’ll be the proud owner of a Commercial Pilot Licence with instrument rating and a frozen ATPL – this will enable you to apply for First Officer positions with airlines.

Your ATPL will remain frozen until you meet the relevant professional experience, at which point the ‘frozen’ prefix will be dropped. If looking to gain promotion to Senior First Officer you will be able to apply once you’ve accumulated 1,500 hours.

Our graduates have gone on to become First Officers with a range of airlines including British Airways, Ryanair, easyJet, Cathay Pacific and Jet 2.

If you’re interested in undertaking further study or specialising in a certain field, you can choose to study one of our renowned postgraduate programmes, such as MSc Aviation Operations and Management and MSc Managing Organisational Resilience.

PSW Opportunity

  • 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
  • 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria

We require successful completion of a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12 with an overall average of 65% or above.

Mathematics entry requirements

Students need the equivalent of GCSE Mathematics grade C/4.

English language requirements

Students are not required to provide an English Certificate if they achieve a score of  65% or above on the English Language subject of their a Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) / Standard 12.

A typical offer will require a UCAS tariff score of: 80 - 104

A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required and a typical offer also requires GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
