The Personalised Medicine course was created in response to demand from science and industry for graduates with a multidisciplinary skill set. Our Industrial Liaison Committee provides us with continual feedback to ensure that the skills of our graduates align critically with the needs of science and industry.

You will exit this course with a highly sought after combination of expertise in disease pathology, laboratory techniques, bioinformatics and data analytics. You will be equipped to become part of a rapidly expanding workforce on the cutting edge of scientific and medical progress. You will be well positioned for a career in research, the health service, or the pharmaceutical or diagnostics industries.

• 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
• 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.

Each programme will have slightly different requirements, both in terms of overall points and certain subjects, so please check the relevant subject in the undergraduate on-line prospectus.

Normally Ulster University welcomes applications from students with:

All Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) with an overall average of 60% to include 50% or above in 5 subjects Where a course has subject-specific requirements 60% will be required in each of these subjects.

OR

3 year Diploma in an engineering or technology subject from a State Board of Technical Education with overall 60% (Accredited by ACITE)

Usually the minimum English language entry requirement is IELTS (academic) of 6.0 (with no band score of less than 5.5).

Some of our courses ask for a higher score.

If you do not meet the English language requirement we will give you a conditional offer subject to you meeting the requirement before the commencement of the course.
