BSc (Hons) Marketing graduates have been employed as marketing analysts, brand ambassadors, marketing officers/assistants, market researchers, business development managers, customer service representatives, management consultants, advertising executives, sales representatives and project assistants. Typical employers include, L’Oreal, The Hastings Group, PWC, Randox, Marks and Spencer (Head Office), Tesco (Head Office), Diageo, Mintel, Belfast Telegraph, Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Power NI. Honours graduates are also well positioned to avail of the Ulster Business School’s full and/or part time postgraduate learning opportunities. For example, the Department’s postgraduate portfolio currently includes Masters programmes in Marketing and Business Development and Innovation.
PSW Opportunity
- 2 Years PSW is applicable after completing a minimum duration of 9 months course (like- Undergraduate, Postgraduate Level)
- 3 Years PSW is applicable after completing PhD level courses.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
Each programme will have slightly different requirements, both in terms of overall points and certain subjects, so please check the relevant subject in the undergraduate on-line prospectus.
Normally Ulster University welcomes applications from students with:
All Indian Standard XII (Central Boards or a State Board) with an overall average of 60% to include 50% or above in 5 subjects Where a course has subject-specific requirements 60% will be required in each of these subjects.
OR
3 year Diploma in an engineering or technology subject from a State Board of Technical Education with overall 60% (Accredited by ACITE)
Usually the minimum English language entry requirement is IELTS (academic) of 6.0 (with no band score of less than 5.5).
Some of our courses ask for a higher score.
If you do not meet the English language requirement we will give you a conditional offer subject to you meeting the requirement before the commencement of the course.
