Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
You will study issues related to the maintenance, rehabilitation or enhancement of movement, exercise, training and performance. In addition to courses in anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology, sports psychology and nutrition, we offer advanced courses in environmental physiology, ergonomics, exercise counselling and prescription, neuromechanics, sports injuries and training methods.

Our Bachelor of Kinesiology (BKin) degree emphasizes the biophysical, behavioural and socio-cultural aspects of kinesiology, including exercise prescription and rehabilitation, fitness programming, exercise assessment, ergonomics and sports nutrition. The program provides hands-on lab experience and opportunities for practical experience through field placements and practical courses in a variety of clinical and sports settings, including those in the Brock Sports Performance, Brock Sports Medicine and our Brock Functional Inclusive Training (Bfit) Centres. This degree will train effective health professionals and sports scientists who will transfer science into practice. Our Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (BScKin) degree provides a highly competent science background with an emphasis on research skills and theoretical knowledge. This degree is designed for those who wish to concentrate on the science of human movement, exercise and sports. It prepares you to meet the requirements for postgraduate degree programs in many allied health professions and sports.

St. Catharines Campus
St. Catharines campus of the Brock University houses around 2,500 students in 8 residence complexes. Also, the institution has a campus in the city named Hamilton in Ontario. It has a gymnasium, board room, instructional resource center, library, large classrooms, modern computer labs, faculty office space, conference facilities, food services, and green spaces.

If your program was less than 8 months
- You aren’t eligible for a PGWP.
If your program was more than 8 months but less than 2 years
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for up to the same length as your study program.
For example, if you completed a 9-month program, we may give you a work permit for up to 9 months.
If your program was 2 years or more
- We may give you a PGWP that’s valid for 3 years.
If you completed more than 1 program
- You may be able to get a PGWP that combines the length of each program.
Each of the programs you completed -
- must be PGWP-eligible and at least 8 months in length

General admission requirements:
- Senior Secondary school credential appropriate for entry to university in your home country;
- Academically rigorous grade 12 year
- Minimum B- average (higher for some programs)

- Advanced Functions (MHF4U) (min.70%) or Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U) (min. 70%)
