Bachelor of Arts (Ord) Graphic & UX Design
Our BA Graphic & UX Design combines the rich diversity of traditional graphic design – logo design, illustration, photography, packaging, signage, posters, billboards, and book design with the more contemporary design of motion graphics, interactive websites, and apps.
Alongside igniting students’ creativity and problem-solving skills, the programme is very practical with a focus on real-world challenges and live project briefs that encourage design solutions that are relevant and meaningful. Working directly with Industry, participating in international competitions, along with an opportunity to gain 12 weeks of full-time industry work placement or to study abroad ensures our graduates enter industry as highly employable, creative, and entrepreneurial designers. Graduates find employment as UX/UI/Digital Product Designers in the booming tech sector, as graphic designers within advertising, marketing, or design agencies, as in-house graphic designers in a wide range of industries, as self-employed designers among many other roles.
In this world of constant change, government and businesses now recognise the need for creative thinkers who are able to identify and solve real problems. This course answers that need, providing our graduates with the processes and skills to launch them into an exciting career in design.
