Career services supports career learning and preparedness by encouraging students to take advantage of advising and programming opportunities. Our plan is for students to comprehend and prepare for trends that are related to local hiring efforts, while setting goals aligned with their values, interests, personality and skill sets. Engaging with career services allows students an opportunity to apply academic competencies acquired in the classroom to experiential opportunities offered by industry leaders.

WSU Tri-Cities partnered with the Association of Washington Business, the Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce and Columbia Basin College to launch a new Workforce Portal that will help connect students with internships and other career opportunities.  Use the advanced internship search to find an internship by keyword, job category, location and more. If you don’t see anything that interests you, continue to check the website as new positions are added frequently.

One good way to determine which major is a good fit for you is to evaluate how your career interests relate our programs of study.

3 Years PSW

Applicants must complete at least 12 years of elementary through secondary school, culminating in an appropriate secondary certificate or external examination. Grades must be distinctly above average.

Applicants graduating from accredited high schools outside the United States of America (USA) must have a minimum grade point average of 2.70 (on a 4.00 scale). Your schooling should include preparation in humanities, mathematics, basic sciences, and social sciences.

The two most commonly accepted exams are the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) and IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Other examinations may also be accepted. You will need to score at least 550 (paper-based), 79 (internet-based), or 213 (computer-based) on the TOEFL. The IELTS minimum score is 6.5. The minimum score is 77 on the MELAB.
