POST SECONDARY NETWORK AND SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR DIPLOMA
The NSA program provides learners with comprehensive skills in Information Technology infrastructure design and support. Students apply their learning in hands-on advanced labs outfitted with industry-grade hardware and software from universally recognized technology leaders such as Cisco, Microsoft, Red Hat, and AWS. Upon completion of the program, students will be able to perform tasks related to networking, routing, switching, on-prem and cloud server administration, as well as essential remote access, communication, and messaging technologies.

MITT students can choose to write their certification exams at MITT's Test Centre. The cost of certification exams is not included in tuition, but MITT students and alumni are eligible for discounted pricing through our partners.
Eligible students can participate in a fifteen-week (one-term) work practicum placement. The Work Practicum is an integral pathway to transition students from the MITT learning environment to the workplace. It offers students the opportunity to gain industry-relevant experience with a recognized employer, build on their technical skills while increasing confidence, employability, and job readiness, and make valuable contacts.
All students participate in MITT’s Bridging to Work workshops, which provide them with a foundation in the employability and essential skills employers demand.

MITT takes an innovative approach to career education. Every student at MITT participates in Bridging to Work during their technical program. These workshops focus on employability skills, resume development, interview skills, and effective transition to work. Bridging to Work is another way that MITT is ensuring students and alumni find long-term employment success.

PSW Opportunity
Eligibility for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP):
Graduated from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.
Desire to stay in Canada temporarily for work.
Important Note:
Graduating from a DLI doesn't automatically qualify you for a PGWP.
Validity of PGWP:
Depends on the length of the study program or the expiry date of your passport, whichever comes first.
Duration of PGWP Based on Study Program Length:
Less than 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec credentials): Not eligible for PGWP.
At least 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec credentials), but less than 2 years: PGWP may be granted for the same length as the study program (e.g., a 9-month program results in a 9-month PGWP).
2 years or more: PGWP may be valid for 3 years.
Completion of Multiple Programs:
PGWP may combine the lengths of each program if:
Each program is PGWP eligible.
Each program is at least 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec credentials) in length.
Important Restriction:
You cannot obtain a PGWP if you already had one after completing an earlier program of study.

Entrance requirements
- An undergraduate diploma or degree, preferably in business, commerce, or a related discipline (includes MITT’s Post-Graduate Certificate in Business Management*), with good academic standing, from an accredited institution. A minimum of 2 years of full-time undergraduate-level coursework in a related field** may also be considered.
- Demonstrated English Language Proficiency (if educated outside Canada)
- Current resumé or CV
Preferred Admission Criteria (There may be a competitive admissions process for entry to this program; meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission)
- Minimum 2 years of prior relevant work experience as demonstrated on resumé or CV.
