Expertise in supporting the planning development of lands according to municipal, provincial and federal legislation and industry standards/procedures
Practical experience in conducting environmental assessments and environmental impact studies
Knowledge of industry standards for collection and analysis of water and soil samples in the field to aid in the study and modelling of environmental problems
The ability to present spatial information using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) applications
Project management skills as well as negotiation, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills to achieve goals within land use development projects and associated plans

Eligibility for Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP):
Graduated from a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada.
Desire to stay in Canada temporarily for work.
Important Note:
Graduating from a DLI doesn't automatically qualify you for a PGWP.
Validity of PGWP:
Depends on the length of the study program or the expiry date of your passport, whichever comes first.
Duration of PGWP Based on Study Program Length:
Less than 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec credentials): Not eligible for PGWP.
At least 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec credentials), but less than 2 years: PGWP may be granted for the same length as the study program (e.g., a 9-month program results in a 9-month PGWP).
2 years or more: PGWP may be valid for 3 years.
Completion of Multiple Programs:
PGWP may combine the lengths of each program if:
Each program is PGWP eligible.
Each program is at least 8 months (or 900 hours for Quebec credentials) in length.
Important Restriction:
You cannot obtain a PGWP if you already had one after completing an earlier program of study.
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
ENGLISH LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the academic admission requirements, all applicants to Fleming College must provide proof of English proficiency in order to be considered for admission, using one of the following options:
Option 1 - Submit test results from one of the accepted tests listed:
Submission of English Language Test Scores. Applicants may receive direct admission by submitting one of the following recognized English language test scores with their application.
Internet-based (iBT) TOEFL - 88 with no score less than 22
Paper-based (PBT) TOEFL - 577
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - 6.5 with no band less than 6.0
Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL) - Overall 70
Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) - 85
PTE Academic (Pearson Test English) - 60
Duolingo - 115
Successful completion of Level 8, in Fleming College’s English Language Bridge (ELB) Program.
Diploma/Certificates require 70% grade in Level 8
Pharmacy Technician and Post Graduate Certificate require 80% grade in Level 8
Successful completion of English as a Second Language (ESL) or English for Academic Preparation (EAP) at an Ontario Community College, University, or approved pathway language.
Provide proof of language proficiency based on previous education:
Successfully completed three consecutive years of study at the secondary school (high school) level in English in a country where English is a primary language (four years, with graduation diploma are required for Pharmacy Technician)
Completed one full year of study (within the last 2 years) in an accredited post-secondary program in English in a country where English is a primary language (not applicable to Pharmacy Technician)
Obtain an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or Canadian provincial equivalent) and English credit (Grade 12 C) issued by a public or Catholic school board,
Provide proof of graduation from one of the authorized Fleming College pathway partners (not applicable to Pharmacy Technician, and post-graduate applicability is based on marks)
Completed three consecutive years of study at a secondary private school in Ontario and received an Ontario Secondary School Diploma and English credit (Grade 12 C)
