CBC offers a wide range of student support/welfare guidance services in both academic & personal areas. These services are available free of charge to all enrolled students and include:-
Orientation (Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), ID cards, cultural values, bank & financial institution services awareness, student visa conditions and requirements, library, student support service & others).

CBC does not offer professional counselling service to students. The Director/Manager Student Services acts as a point of contact and offers support to students on matters and issues that fall within their capacity. However if the student needs professional counselling or support services, the DSS/MSS will seek or recommend a professional counselling agency.
PSW Opportunity
Post Study Work Steam Renames to Post Higher Education Work Steam.
- Bachelor degree holders including honours can get upto 2 years of post study stay
- Master by course work and extended (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 2 years
- Masters by research (with a duration exceeding 2 years) and PhD holder can stay upto 3 years
- The Maximum eligible age to apply for PSW will be reduced to 35 years of age from 50 years of age for all applicants
Due to the Australian Indian Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement signed by the 2 countries, according to which:
- Indian students completing bachelor degree including honours can stay upto 2 years
- Bachelor degree with First class honours in STEM including ICT can stay upto 3 years
- Masters by coursework in extended researched (with a duration exceeding 2 years) can stay upto 3 years
- PhD students can stay upto 4 years
Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
18 years and above • An overall IELTS band 5.5 or equivalent and above (please refer to Acceptable English Language Test Score table)
Completed a minimum of Year 12.
If the candidate holds a lower level qualifi cation (Certifi cate II, III, IV or Dip), he/she will need to submit verifi ed Certifi cate/ Statement of Attainment for recognition purposes.
Must complete lower level qualifi cation prior to entry into the higher level qualifi cation. For example: Students need to complete the diploma qualifi cation prior to commencement of the Advanced Diploma qualifi cation.
