Be prepared to develop strategies for addressing both current and future challenges through the Master of Public Health — Master of Global Development degree (MPH-MGlobDev), which is highly attuned to the development challenges of the next decade. This degree is the first joint Master’s program in Australia to respond to the development needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. You will gain key conceptual and practical skills to understand and respond to shifting landscapes of public health and human development.

The campus is located in the Townsville Tropical Intelligence and Health Precinct (TropiQ) in the suburb of Douglas. JCU Townsville is set in a 386-hectare natural bush and parkland setting, 13 kilometres (8 miles) from the Townsville CBD.

AQF level 7 bachelor degree that includes an Australian Psychology Accreditation Council-approved three-year sequence in psychology with a credit average in all level 2 and 3 psychology subjects; or equivalent
You must have successfully completed a bachelor degree or equivalent from a recognised higher education institution. Refer to our Study Abroad Guide for additional entry requirements if applicable.
