Pharmaceutical sciences and practice research is housed in the School's state-of-the-art, purpose-built McClay Research Centre and adjacent facilities on the Health Sciences campus. Our world-class laboratories include recently-opened new facilities for pharmaceutical biotechnology and medicinal chemistry, and our well-equipped Pharmacy Practice Research Unit provides excellent facilities for practice-related research. Specific training in research methodologies is provided for all postgraduate research students.
STATE OF THE ART FACILITIES Across health sciences laboratories, business, engineering and computing. Including a financial Trading Room with Bloomberg terminals, interdisciplinary health and life sciences research facilities and innovative engineering hubs.

The minimum academic requirement for admission to a research degree programme is normally an Upper Second Class Honours degree from a UK or ROI HE provider, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University. Further information can be obtained by contacting the School.
