What do aerospace engineers do?
Aerospace engineering is concerned with the design, airworthiness, development and maintenance of flight vehicles. It’s a multidisciplinary combination of aerodynamics, aero?structures, avionics, propulsion, materials engineering and computational simulation.
As an aerospace engineer, you’ll have the skills to tackle many of tomorrow’s global challenges. You may be involved in the creation of a more environmentally-friendly aircraft, or even help build a vehicle capable of exploring our solar system and beyond. Project work includes computational modelling for predicting structural behaviour, advanced manufacturing, and materials and structural testing.

Admission Requirement / Eligibility Criteria
All Monash undergraduate courses require you to have successfully completed a minimum of an Australian Year 12 qualification (or equivalent) and achieve the required academic entry score. Most Monash faculties generally use your most recent studies for admission however other guidelines may apply where your prior qualification may be considered.

Overall average of the best four academic subjects (excluding Monash University approved non-academic subjects) and results indicated as ‘pass certificate awarded’ awarded on the official final 'Statement of Marks' issued by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.
Qualifications that are competency based (without grades or marks) will not be considered for admission.
Applicants with an achieved ATAR of less than 80.00 or equivalent need to have completed one year of equivalent full-time study load (1 EFTSL) or 48 credit points of bachelor level study with a minimum 60% average.
Applicants with an achieved ATAR of above 80.00 or equivalent need to have completed six months of equivalent full-time study load (0.5 EFTSL) or 24 credit points of bachelor level study with a minimum 60% average.
All applicants must satisfy the equivalence of the VCE subject prerequisites. If you have not met the course prerequisites at Monash or via an Australian Year 12, IB or A Levels you will need to provide unit outlines/syllabus for the prerequisite assessment.
Prerequisites must be completed within the past 10 years.
This course uses the entire academic record as part of its selection considerations.

If you have a complete or incomplete international bachelor degree, it must be accredited and equivalent to an Australian level where the entry requirement will vary than listed above.
